Entertaining Young Children on Holiday

Posted on August 30, 2018 at 10:52 pm

Whilst a holiday will have many magical moments for you and your family, it can also pose difficulties for families with young children. It’s never easy when children are going to be getting out of their routine, and when you know the weather will be quite warm for them. It’s always good to go on holiday with a realistic expectation of how your children will behave, so that you can prepare.

It’s important to stay somewhere that is child friendly, that will have plenty for you to do as a family. When your children are being entertained, they are much more likely to be well behaved and to have fun. Choose your hotel carefully and check that it is family and child friendly; swimming pools for kids, water slides and clubs are always welcome options for a family. Bigger hotels will also tend to have some good activities, like kids’ clubs and holiday clubs.

Posted on May 26, 2018 at 8:45 pm

In the age of the internet, is the role of a travel agent now obsolete? Not at all. Travel agents can add lots of value and will be able to give you plenty of advice and options when booking your holiday. You will find that the whole experience is less stressful when booking with an agent.

Many people either cannot use the internet, or choose not to use it. For this reason, lots of people feel it is safer to book a holiday through a travel company. This makes sense – they are more likely to use reputable travel companies and options, so you will get a better all-round experience, and won’t find that the accommodation doesn’t live up to your expectations when you arrive.

Travel agents will listen, advise and book trips that match your requirements. It is a good way to book a holiday if you are short of time or ideas, and you want to feel safe in your decision.

Posted on March 12, 2018 at 9:49 pm

Spain has lots to offer to holidaymakers throughout the year. Even in the winter, much of Spain will still have some milder weather and will have plenty for tourists to see and do. If you are travelling to Spain this year, here is some advice to follow:

Learn the language. It is easy to pick up a few phrases in Spanish. Many Spanish people speak good English, but even if this is the case, they will appreciate you at least trying to speak their language.

Be mindful of the political situation in Barcelona. It is perfectly safe to travel to Barcelona. Just keep an eye on the news the check it stays this way.

Get away from the tourists. If you want to see the real Spain, pick a more remote destination. You might want to go inland a little to escape touristy beach resorts.

Consider hiring a car. This is an easy way to get around and you will be able to see more of Spain.
